We attended the closing this afternoon, and successfully signed all the required paperwork to transfer ownership of that little red brick bungalow into our names. The keys are in our possession; the garage door opener is in our car. The house is really ours now!
More to follow tomorrow - we will head back to the house to tear up carpet. I told Rachel she cannot help, and so she is not too happy with me.
