Pandas!

Today we made the trip with my parents out to see the pandas, at the breeding center just north of town. It was a cool morning (considering it is June) so it was perfect for panda-watching. We saw lots of them out and about - the young ones wrestling, the older ones munching bamboo robotically. We also had some close encounters with some peacocks, which gave some nice variation to the morning. No babies currently being born, so we did not have the chance to see those slimy, pink newborn pandas. I'm happy about that.

My parents and I were excited to go and see them. They are darn cute.

But as you see from the picture, Rachel's third trip to the panda center was met with decidedly less enthusiasm!
